Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the CiVQ platform or the civq.us site. It exists to keep the service safe, lawful, and reliable for governments and residents.
This document is a general template for the CiVQ platform and is provided for information only — it is not legal advice. Have a licensed Texas attorney review and adapt it to your specific circumstances before relying on it.
1. Prohibited conduct
Do not use the service to break the law; gain or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data; scan, probe, or test security without written authorization; disrupt or overload the service; introduce malware; or circumvent tenant isolation or access controls.
2. Content
Do not upload or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates others' privacy. Government customers are responsible for the lawfulness of content they publish and the communications they send.
3. Communications
Outbound email, SMS, and push must comply with applicable law, including the TCPA and anti-spam rules. Honor opt-outs; reserve emergency override for genuine public-safety notices.
4. Security research
Authorized security testing is welcome under a written agreement. Report vulnerabilities responsibly to admin [at] pragmaticsolutions dot app; do not exploit or disclose them publicly before they are fixed.
5. Enforcement
We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations, consistent with the applicable agreement. For hosted accounts, suspension is reversible and preserves data; public-safety functions are not silently dropped.
