Getting started
What CiVQ is
CiVQ is one bilingual platform that runs the day-to-day of a local government — a city, county, or school district — and gives its residents a single front door. Instead of renting six disconnected vendors, an entity gets permitting, payments, records, 311, HR, fleet, public meetings, a public website, and more in one place, with English and Spanish native on every resident-facing screen.
Three audiences, one system
- Residents use the public website and resident portal — report a pothole, pay a bill, request a record, read the agenda — in their chosen language.
- Staff work in the dashboard — every department, every module, behind a login, scoped to their entity and role.
- The owner (you) runs the business — tenants, billing, module provisioning, and the partner API.
Two ideas that shape everything
- Bilingual by design. Not a translate button — every surface ships professionally written in both languages, and each resident picks the language they hear from you in.
- Tenant isolation. Each entity's data is walled off at the database level (row-level security), proven by automated tests. One platform, but no tenant sees another's data.
