Careers / Hiring

A built-in replacement for NEOGOV — post jobs to your public careers site, take applications, and move applicants through a structured hiring pipeline to a hire.

Staff-onlyOperations tierBilingual EN / ES

Careers is the entity's hiring desk. Staff write a full requisition, publish it bilingually to the public careers portal, and watch applicants land in a pipeline they can review row by row — every posting carries its req number, employment type, salary range, applicant count, status, and close date.

What you can do

Postings

Write a requisition

The "New posting" editor is a comprehensive, NEOGOV-grade requisition form — title, employment type, salary range, and the details that make a complete posting.

Publish

Go live bilingually

A posting starts as a draft; publish it to make it visible on the public careers site in both English and Spanish, and close it when hiring ends.

Queue

Filter the board

Status chips (draft, published, closed) filter the postings queue with live counts, so the active board is one click away.

Intake

Take applications

Applicants apply from the public portal; each posting shows its applicant count and feeds an applications list and pipeline.

Pipeline

Move applicants through

Open a posting to review its applicants through a structured pipeline from intake toward a hiring decision.

Actions

Publish & close inline

Each row carries quick publish/close actions, gated by permission, so the board is also the control surface.

A typical workflow

  1. Draft the posting — fill out the requisition editor (title, employment type, salary range) and save it as a draft.
  2. Publish it — publishing pushes the posting to the public careers site, bilingually, so candidates can apply.
  3. Applications arrive — each application counts against the posting and shows up in the applications list.
  4. Review the pipeline — open the posting and move applicants through the hiring pipeline toward a decision.
  5. Close & hire — close the posting when filled; a hire can flow on into the HR roster.

A closer look

In practice
The home screen is the postings queue: a table of req number, title, type, salary, applicant count, status, and close date, with status chips up top and a "New posting" button that opens the full requisition editor. There's also a public careers PORTAL where residents browse openings and apply.
Where it lives
Staff: /dashboard/careers (postings, applications, pipeline). Candidates apply from the tenant's public careers portal.
