Social Media

Compose, route for approval, schedule, and publish posts to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok — from one console, with every published post auto-archived for open records.

Staff-onlyOperations tierBilingual EN / ES

Social Media is the entity's posting console. Staff write a message, attach media and a link, pick which connected accounts to publish to, and either publish on demand or schedule it — but every post is routed for approval before it can go out, and once published it's auto-archived for open records.

What you can do

Compose

Write once, post wide

The composer takes a message (with a live character count), an optional link, and media, then targets one or more connected accounts in a single post.

Channels

Reach every network

Publish to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok; only accounts that are connected (or in sandbox) are selectable as targets.

Approval

Route before it goes out

A new post enters a pending-approval state; a "My approvals" inbox narrows the queue to posts awaiting your sign-off, with a count.

Schedule

Publish now or later

Set a date and time to schedule the post, or leave it blank to publish on demand once it's approved.

Queue

Track every post

Status chips filter the post queue; each row shows an excerpt, account count, link, and when it was published, scheduled, or updated.

Records

Archive automatically

Published posts are captured into the Social Media Archive so the entity's public-records obligations are met without extra steps.

A typical workflow

  1. Connect accounts — link the entity's Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, or TikTok accounts so they become publishable targets.
  2. Compose the post — write the message, add a link or media, and check the accounts to publish to.
  3. Route for approval — the post is created in a pending-approval state and lands in the approver's "My approvals" inbox.
  4. Schedule or publish — once approved, it publishes on demand or at its scheduled time.
  5. It's archived — the published post is auto-captured into the Social Media Archive for open records.

A closer look

In practice
The home screen is a post queue with status chips and a "My approvals" toggle that counts what's awaiting you. "New post" opens a composer with a character-counted message, optional link and media, a "Publish to" grid of connected accounts, and an optional schedule. This is publishing — the separate Social Media Archiving module keeps the compliance record.
Where it lives
Staff: /dashboard/social (posts, accounts, calendar). Connect accounts under /dashboard/social/accounts before posting.
