Inventory / Warehouse
A stock catalog with locations, reorder points, and an append-only movement trail for every receive and issue.
Inventory opens on an analytics-first landing with a KPI strip — including a low-stock count that warns when items dip below their reorder point — over the item catalog. Staff add items, receive and issue stock, run cycle counts, and track every movement in an append-only audit trail.
What you can do
Build the item catalog
Add items with a SKU, bilingual names, category, unit of measure, and unit cost. Scan-to-fill lets you populate the SKU from a barcode.
Receive & issue
Quick per-row Receive and Issue actions move quantity in and out against a location, with a reference and note for the record.
Watch low stock
Set a reorder point and reorder quantity per item; the low-stock KPI and a low-stock-only filter surface anything that needs restocking.
Track by location
The Locations tab holds your warehouses and bins, so stock is counted where it actually sits.
Run cycle counts
The Cycle counts tab reconciles what's on the shelf against what the system says, and posts the corrections.
See every movement
The Movements tab is an append-only trail — every receive, issue, and adjustment is recorded and can't be edited away.
Run a periodic audit
Schedule a county or precinct Inventory Audit with printable forms and a report PDF, so the periodic count is a tracked, filed event.
A typical workflow
- Add an item — enter the SKU (or scan it), bilingual names, category, unit of measure, cost, and reorder point.
- Receive stock — use the row's Receive action to bring quantity into a location with a reference.
- Issue stock — Issue pulls quantity out as crews draw supplies; on-hand drops in real time.
- Reorder when low — when an item falls below its reorder point it flags in the low-stock KPI and filter.
- Count & reconcile — periodic cycle counts true up the numbers, and every step is logged in Movements.
A closer look
The movement trail is append-only by design — corrections are posted as new movements rather than edits, so the warehouse history is always auditable. Item names are bilingual, so the same SKU reads correctly to English- and Spanish-speaking staff.
